Read what parents are saying about Pflugerville Middle Schoolschool is disgusting it's like they never clean. their ac still doesn't work since school stared and my last math teacher didn't believe in any of her students.
Posted by a student on 10/19/2022I was worried about my daughter going to this school, but she has adapted quite well. She does band and cheer and even when she is a shy child, she hasn't experienced any bullying. She loves her teachers and coaches
Posted by a parent on 6/28/2022staff choose obvious favorites and never punish the popular students yet instead punish less popular students even when they do nothing wrong.school is blatantly racist, homophobic, etc. despite what they say. they preach to "report bad things you see" yet do absolutely nothing to punish students who do bad things, as long as they one of the favorites/popular students. I've experienced this firsthand multiple times. the current principal and AP treat students very unfairly and have obvious biases. do not go to this terrible school.
Posted by a parent on 6/12/2022I hate this school I go to here and the bathrooms are disgusting and so is the food. the teachers are underpaid and the students are wild please don't send your child here, please it's for their safety and mental health.
Posted by a student on 1/27/2022The school has a long history of academic and athletic success, and has improved greatly the past few years.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been at Windermere for three years starting in 2021. The new principal, Ms. McAllister, has impressed me with her leadership and engagement. I will say that many teachers seem a little burned out after the pandemic but who can blame them. I feel like the school and district and making small gains each year.Parent Review5mo ago - Brookhollow Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe've had 4 kids pass through Brookhollow. It's a great school with many caring and passionate teachers. It's a smaller school. This lends itself to your kids getting a more personal experience. Teachers have time to focus on all of them individually. We really enjoyed our years at Brookhollow.Parent Review1mo ago - Springhill Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI should have listened to several other parents that either pulled their kids out of Renaissance or selected a different school. We lasted two months. Here are the things I wish I knew before enrolling.PROS:Lovely kindergarten teachers;Additional Arabic classes;CONS:Condescending and ignoring attitude towards parents. No flexibility offered for working parents - you must be a stay at home parent for your kids to attend this school (i.e. no online parent teacher conferences - they are mandatory and it's only on-site and only at the "commanded" time). Even though before we enrolled, our initial meeting was online and the site visit was conducted on Saturday. That's not how it is after the official enrollment.Inconvenient drop off and pick up arrangement.Serious safety concerns during the pick up and drop off.Weak (standard?) kindergarten program, boring for children that went to school before or studied with parents at home. Quality of education totally depends on parent's/child's work at home. No one cares if your child learned or memorized anything. It's all on parents, with loads of repetitive homework. Lots of "Print outs". And, an interesting grading system.Somehow girls and boys are arranged to sit next to each other, for example one girl and three boys at one combined desk.Yearly materials bought by parents (in addition to fees) are not returned upon withdrawal. None of the books were returned. Not even our change clothes. Non-existent onboarding, "welcome" emails and instructions for new or first time students. Once you pay, go figure everything out on your own.Shortage of staff (looks like it's a statewide problem).Forceful parent "volunteering". Not sure who would want to volunteer after this attitude. And finally - cold, exclusive, inconsiderate, indifferent "community".Parent Review1y ago
