McMillen High School needs to improve when it comes to fairness and recognition. It often feels like students who regularly get into trouble receive more attention, while those who consistently do the right thing go unnoticed.You can walk into certain classrooms or offices and see the same students

They rush the kids out the door and lock it behind them, then lie about them being able to wait for the 2nd "wave" of buses inside as they run for their cars in the rear parki

Posted by a parent on 9/18/2022My son attends this school and does well. The school is diverse and has all the extracurricular activity’s he enjoys. His classes are challenging and he enjoys all his teachers.

From the very beginning, the school has provided the support he needed as a non-fluent English speaker. He has been consistently supported in building his English vocabulary day by day, and we have seen real progress since he started.The teachers and staff have been attentive and thoughtful in making sure he feels confident, included, and encouraged. He feels comfortable participating in classroom activities and has felt welcomed not only by his classmates, but also by students from other classes.The teachers are caring, affectionate, and truly dedicated to their students’ academic and emotional growth.
