This will be my 7th year working at Sharp Academy. Every day I get to witness the daily transformation in our students that my own daughter experienced. My daughter came to Sharp in 10th grade, and graduated from Sharp in 2020. I saw her go from a student who struggled with math, and low self-confid

Posted by a parent on 4/19/2024Sharp Academy is a God's send and has completely changed our child's life. We were at our wit's end when we found Sharp Academy. Our daughter has severe dyslexia and had trouble keeping up in public school. She always would ask "Why am I different". She is now an A/B student, has so much confidence

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school is continuing to provide great education to the students. The teachers that my daughter had so far has been excellent in being patient, caring and supporting my daughter to succeed in school. The actual school building needs an update and they are currently in progress.Parent Review4y ago - Waters Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn the world of public education where many kids can't even read by the time they graduate, Southcrest is a light in the darkness. Teachers challenge their students to think critically, to take ownership of their own learning, and to learn about and love God and His Word. So many schools today teach to the test, but at Southcrest, each teacher focuses on the individuals in his/her classroom and how to challenge each student to reach his/her full potential. With the small class sizes, they have the freedom to do so and they show my kids the love of Christ every day in addition to challenging them academically in the best ways. This school has been a Godsend to our whole family.Parent Review5mo ago - Trinity Christian School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFirst off The one and only elementary teacher for our Grandson is awesome. The school it self, the ADMINISTRATION, THE PRINCIPAL, THE NURSE, ARE HORRIBLE. They say they can accommodate, they say they watch over the kids, they say they protect the kids but apparently it's not their protocol to call the parents when the child gets hurt, falls off the playground equipment, or comes home with a bruise on his back. Then when you talk with the SA principal she tells me it's my fault for not taking him to the hospital when I pick him up at 330. Knowing he got hurt at like 945 am.Again not their protocol to call the parents, those were HER words to me. Yet when the main office tells my wife it is, and that they will call us back to let us know, NOTHING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. We didn't even get an apology for what had happen to our grandson. If we did and the SA principal was gone we would possibly leave our grandson at this school because he really likes all his new friends.Parent Review3y ago
