Killian Middle School

My kid is new to the school transfer from Polser. Since he has been here, he loves it. We are glad that he has a school that is teaching him new things all across the board. The councilors are also great. I know this is just the first half of school but he is learning a lot at this school. Hopefully it continues.

The worst experience. This school was not really for my son. My son got bullied. They did try to help but still he was not really looked at as capable by teachers. The class teacher at the time was also very cold and lack empathy. He was the youngest in the class and couldn’t read at the level. The pressure on parents to get my kid to read and spell was unreal when the teaching in classroom was so basic. Thankfully, we found another school that is more suitable, even though a lot of schools in the area have closed.

My child has attended Coyote Ridge for a couple of years. We've had our ups and downs, especially this year. I've had to deal with both the principal and assistant principal several times. The principal is very warm and easy to work with. She's always been kind to both me and my child. However, I have found the assistant principal to be cold and difficult to work with. I much prefer dealing with the principal if given the opportunity.

My daughter is in 4th Grade and I feel she is very secure in this school.

Im in 8th grade ow but this school was great when i went to it! other than our 5th grade stem teacher being a pedifile (now fired) the teachers were great and really encouraging! I loved most of the teachers i had and really enjoyed my time there. They seemed to really care about the students and having community within the school.

Both of my boys have been at this school since kindergarten. My oldest is in 5th grade now and I have another in 3rd. We have had such a positive experience at this school from all aspects: classroom learning, teachers, administrators, speech program, Gifted and Talented program and the PTA is amazing. I have lived in the neighborhood for over a decade and have loved the positive change this school has had in the last 10 years.
