Kuehnle Elementary School

Just moved here and regretting letting my children come to this school. Only a month in and my child has anxiety which she never did before due to bullying and teachers who either don’t care or who also bully the students. Looking for a charter or private school starting tomorrow. My poor daughter can’t sleep knowing she has to go to this school in the morning. Never had ever hated school before. This is not right.

The staffs were rule. Specially the lady at front desk office, very unprofessional talking. I hope she is NOT a teacher because I don’t want my children are taught by rule people.

I am a teacher here, but I am commenting as a parent. I want to say that both of my kids love Mittelstadt. I absolutely know that the teachers love my kids like their own, and they both have grown and exceeded their academic expectations. As a teacher, I am blessed to be able to serve here. We have the best administrators and the best staff in the district! If you are looking for a great elementary school, this is the place to be!

Our family loves this school. We have two children there (2nd and 6th grade). The level of education far exceeds what I received in a 5A public school district. My 6th grader can write on a level much higher than many high school graduates just entering their 1st year of college (I recently took an English 1301 class in community college and was extremely dismayed at what the kids in there were trying to pass off as essays).The only thing this school lacks is the resources of a public school in the same geographic area, thus, some facilities are not as robust. The previous headmaster had lead the administration into a very rigid and negative place, however the new headmaster is a legacy member at the school, and has returned the school back to the culture that made this school so famous. In effect: if you enroll your children at this school, you and them will be welcomed in and loved as part of the family. You will see the upper-classmen wrestling with the grammar school kids on the playground. Your children will be taught in a Christ centered environment to think critically and logically, to express themselves in an organized fashion, and will know "how to learn", not just "what they learned".

Our son has been attending Spell Well Montessori since he was 2.5, and now at 5, he’s thriving in every sense of the word. From day one, every teacher has nurtured his unique strengths, encouraged his curiosity, and inspired him to reach further—always with compassion and intention.Thanks to their Montessori approach, he's become a voracious reader (currently at a 3rd-grade level!) and is confidently working through 1st-grade math. More than just academics, he’s learned to be independent, thoughtful, and joyful in his learning.We HIGHLY recommend the Montessori method and Spell Well specifically.
