No information was given out about what to expect from the Pre-k teachers, where to drop our students kids off or where to pick them up, who their teachers were going to be, and so forth. On too of that, the your was done by 5th graders who probably knew
Posted by a parent on 5/23/2014This is our third year at Trimmier and our experience has been positive. My daughter is in fourth grade and my son will start kindergarten next year. As with any school, the school is as good as the teachers you get. We are very involved with our kids so we get good results generally. No major issue
Posted by a parent on 3/18/2014My grandson attends this school and he has made a wonderful transition into public school. He is learning to love reading. He is blessed to have a wonderful teacher who understands him and can challenge him academically.
Posted by a community member on 10/24/2012My daughter started pre-k this year and the only thing I've seen come home was computer paper where she colored on it. In my opinion even in pre-k they should be doing more than this in school. Also my daughter talks about watching Clifford up there,which would be fine for a Friday or something but

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCedar Valley is one of the best elementary schools in the KISD district. I've had 3 children go to the school (currently only my youngest child is enrolled in 2nd grade) and they all loved their teachers (with the exception of my youngest child's 1st grade teacher...that was a tough year where he didn't want to go to school, but he loves his current teacher and the ones before). I would recommend this school to another parent. It's Killeen, but I feel the staff at Cedar Valley really do care about the children and do their best to provide the academic and support needs necessary for each child. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe office staff at this school is rude at first I thought it was just the parents but as my children have continued to go here year after year, I realize that it’s not just the parents the office staff is rude. You can ask a simple questions and they give an attitude. I believe the schools office staff is a School’s first impression, and we’ve experienced the same thing 3 years now.
