Read what parents are saying about Eagle Ridge Elementary SchoolAmazing! We love ERE! My son has been here for all 5 years of his elementary schooling and we couldn’t be happier. We are so sad he’s moving on to middle school! Very active, caring administration, AMAZING teachers, and a super involved community all help to make this outstanding school what it is. I am shocked that this rating isn’t a 10. We have had a fantastic experience. We moved specifically into a neighborhood to be zoned to this school - it was definitely the right decision.

Posted by a parent on 8/5/2017I was shocked to see the rating on here. It should be way higher. My daughter learned to read in 2 months after relocating to the area. Teacher welcomed us, and truly cared for The well being of our daughter. The test scores should say it all. Great school under a great ISD.

Posted by a parent on 6/6/2017My daughter is entering her third year at Eagle Ridge, and we have been very, very pleased. The administrative team is visible, and the principal, assistant principal, and administrative assistant go out of their way to greet kids every day, visit classes, and provide hugs and loving smiles. All of her teachers have been clearly outstanding, from classroom teachers to co-curricular, and she loves every one of them. Eagle Ridge provides a quality education and an environment that values relationships and community. Don't miss the ERES tailgate party, a wonderful community event that brings families and even the neigboring middle school together for fun and spirit. Great people. Great community. Great school.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis was my daughters first year in kindergarten and it has been terrific! Her teacher Mrs. Jaquess is amazing with her and all the children. My daughter can be a strong willed child, but she loves going to school and has grown so much this year! The principal is at every school event and the kids all love to run over and give him a high five. My daughter thinks he is pretty awesome! All of her cocur teachers have worked hard to keep the kids in gaged, with a SOAR attitude. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageUnable or unwilling to accommodate children with disabilities. Refusal to follow 504 plans, argumentative teachers. Refuse to communicate. Withhold information and grades. Very poor performing and very low expectations of student body. High focus on limited English proficiency and dyslexia, while everything else is essentially ignored, glossed over. We were lied to for years about our child’s placement and told she didn’t qualify for an IEP, which was not only untrue, it was not legal. Principal is Teflon - refuses all accountability for theirs or others’ actions. Blames and finger-points to shift the focus of self. Our community deserves so much better. Our kids deserve so much better. The classical education, presented with a Christian worldview, has given them a strong Christian grounding to prepare them for the world. The school environment is safe and very cheerful, our children have played, Soccer, Archery, Volleyball, and Basketball.
