As a first time mom of a kindergarten student the teachers are not nice at all it’s passive energy.. there is a major lack of communication of incidents happen with student wether bullying, bad behavior, or accidents/ injuries. Teachers are not welcoming what so ever it makes you wonder what’s going

Posted by a parent on 11/21/2024Amazing school! The principal, PTA, and teachers all make this school truly amazing! Parents are very involved and my children absolutely love the school. We just moved to the area for this specific school and could not of made a better choice!
Posted by a parent on 12/11/2021Both of my children went to NCE and later on to MPJH and graduated from THS. I loved that the kids they went to elementary school with were zoned through to high school. The staff is caring, and my boys loved their time at NCE. Great staff, teachers and lots of community support.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter experienced such trauma at this school, years later we are still recovering. Her first grade teacher was screaming at her regularly. Another parent witnessed this and informed me. When I approached the school I was fed lines from a book and they basically refused to do anything about it. Young children are natural mathematicians and scientists and yet the kindergarten curriculum offers very little math/science and what is offered is completely unchallenging. All of the focus is on reading/writing so that the children will be ready for testing. If you’re looking for a school that is all about testing- this is your place. They have very unsafe conditions that put students in unsafe environment. They care more about their image than what is best for the students. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids have been in this school for a short period of time but the change from their previous school to this one made a big difference for them, they started to talk more and they seem to like their teachers better. They also send all the work that they did during the week on Fridays so I know the work they did and daily reports on behavior (5YO).
