Poor leadership.... School has been declining the last 5 years... It really took a decline when Ms. Fox left. Teachers don't care... And leadership sits idlely watching the school continue to plummet... Rated a 4 out of 10 is ridiculous WHERE ARE THE LEADERS.... THE PRINCIPAL HAS OBVIOUSLY GIVING UP.

This school is very unorganized and the staff members are rude to the parents.The children feel like some teachers are being mean to them and singling them out because of their own bias and discrimination. The drop off and pick situation is terrible and no organization causing parents to be very frustrated. The staff and crossing guards are Rude as well.

Terrible school. I CANNOT wait for my daughter to be out of this school. I just keep telling myself… 1 more month just 1 more.They refuse children bathroom breaks and say it’s only allowed when the whole class goes. My daughter has a doctor’s note on file to not be denied bathroom breaks due to them denying her all last year to the point where I spent $100’s taking her to urgent cares, ER, and to her pediatrician and she was placed on 2-3 different laxatives because she was severely constipated. Also had to get my daughter removed from her homeroom teachers’ classroom because she practically bullied my child and their best solution was we will move her to her switch teachers classroom as her homeroom teacher and then the teacher who bullies will be her switch teacher. Uhhh ok so that fixes what exactly? I yelled at a teacher in the carpool line telling my child and her friend they were holding the line up when really they weren’t because I still had a vehicle in front of me who had not moved so it’s not like I could move my vehicle up. I told the teacher that it was not ok and she told me “ma’am you need to go!” If I had not needed to go back home I would have put my car in park and said now I will hold the line up. This school is terrible. Stay FAR FAR AWAY!!!! The assistant principal who left and went to be a principal at another elementary in the area made that school so much better but when she left this school went downhill. Not only do you not get to have a field day with your child but you don’t get to come to any of the holiday parties or anything for that matter. It’s literally one of the worst schools in KISD. Seriously, move away if you’re zoned here. Believe me, you will thank me later!

TERRIBLE SCHOOL! The staff at this school is the worst that I have seen at any school!!!! If you can help it please do not send your students here. I read reviews about how horrible this school is but we moved in the neighborhood so I decided to still take a chance and I wish I would have listened to the reviews! They truly do have horrible human beings employed at Franz Elementary.

My son has came here crying to me because some kids said he pooped in the bus. This school has very poor discipline and bad teaching. My kid keeps getting annoyed by this corny kid and tells the teacher and they do a little bit of something. He got his points removed because of a lie a girl made! Even someone with disability got mistreated by the teacher. Not only this, but my kid has been hit a lot of times, and the school stops him from defending himself. I don’t get how the system even works! I’ve sent multiple emails to the school about my son telling me “someone hit me” or “someone punched me and I punched them back and they stopped me from defending myself” and the school doesn’t do anything!!! ANYTHING! This school is like: “ Lalalalalala!!!” LIKE THEY DONT EVEN CARE!? I can’t believe it this is the worst school I’ve had to assign my son. Quick recap of what I said: the school has bad discipline, poor service and lack of responsibility. At one point every single principal should retire and “go think about their actions”.

I worked at this school and saw ALL the behind scenes. Trust me when I say… DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL. They are money driven and not genuine. They have very unsafe conditions that put students in unsafe environment. They care more about their image than what is best for the students. Principal Berry doesn’t not care about staff and most importantly the students.
