They loved it there, and I really enjoyed the teachers, after-school care, and various events including a multicultural night. The teachers would contact me whenever they felt the kids were having trouble and were eager to consult with me on how to help. I've been to 5 or 6 throughout my whole life and yet, within a year I would call this school one of the best. I'm going to junior high in 2 or so months, and I'm glad I got to spend my final year of elementary here. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two children who have been at shady Brook since basically the start of their education (and a third who will attend in a few short years) and I can say that shady Brook is an amazing school, the teachers and faculty go above and beyond and I know my students are genuinely loved and cared for! My oldest is leaving for junior high next year but I am so glad I continue to get to be a Shetland with my youngest kids for a few more years.
