4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDr. Clark is ineffective leader who does not communicate with parents. Crockett has fallen from what it once was due to her inability to take action and lead staff. She does not address behavioral problems that have escalated and instead just points the fingers at the teachersParent Review2y ago - Wilson Montessori

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two children currently enrolled at Baker Montessori, one in 3rd grade and another in Kindergarten. Although the principal recently changed in June 2022, during our past 4 years at Wilson, now renamed Baker Montessori, the teachers and staff have been so constructive, insightful, and dedicated to their craft. The Montessori philosophy is woven into the culture. Children are encouraged to develop natural social skills along their academic path and work plans leading to curiosity and a focus on academic progress, not perfection. During the pandemic, our kids were underserved and now throughout the recovery the school administration, teachers, and staff have been working to offer tutorials and new enrichment programs, and meet the vast and various needs of the community.Parent Review1y ago - Young Scholars Academy For Excelle

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSt. Stephen's is a hidden gem within the sea of learning environments in Houston. It is holistic, child-centered, and eager in its growth goals. Always learning, the teachers are phenomenal. They will soon feel like family. Children are deeply loved here, and they thrive as a result. The education is rooted in Episcopalian values (one being - all are welcome), while living within an unwavering commitment to Montessori pedagogy. On a spiritual level, all 3 of our children are developing a strong sense of empathy, inclusivity, tolerance, and loving kindness. On an academic level, all 3 of our children are challenged appropriately in an environment that encourages curiosity and fosters a love for learning. St. Stephen's is a one-of-a-kind school, truly a place that all children deserve.Parent Review2mo ago - Annunciation Orthodox School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNotice how all of the high ratings are by parents, not current students/alumni? There are so many teachers that have obvious favoritism. I have met two that would go out of their way, just to get you in trouble if they dislike you. When you're in middle school, there are little to NO breaktimes, eight grade only has a ten minute break every WEEK. And the teachers still complain when you can't sit still in class? Some teachers even will get mad you if you ask to use the restroom/get water. People with disabilities only (sometimes) get extra times on tests. I've only met two teachers here EVER that I have actually felt comfortable talking too. This school states how they can't stop bullying from happening to LGBTQ people, just because they're a orthodox school, which doesn't even follow their school statement. They constantly remind us about our uniforms because it "shows integrity" to our school, but can't even handle bullying? The only reason I put two stars for learning is because the STUDENTS make it fun. Some teachers here are just lowkey disrespectful. Most students at this school are nice though. All in all, just save yourself the trouble and don't send your child here.Other Review6mo ago - Creme De La Creme

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe had 2 foster kids that were enrolled in this school. Initially the 3rd grader was placed in 1st grade because they couldn’t get her grades from her old school. The kids would come home with class work where the teachers wrote things like “excellent” or “100%” when there were very clear mistakes on the work. There was zero communication from either of the teachers and they showed no interest in helping the kids succeed.Parent Review11mo ago - Trinity Lutheran School
