Read what parents are saying about Creme De La CremeExcellent. Thank you to all staff, teachers and administrators for all your support, love and understanding to our family. My name is Miriam Lopez and my grandson Atlas has been attending Creme for over s year.
Posted by a parent on 2/25/2020Friendly staff. Ms Melissa from kindergarten is awesome. She takes time to make sure everyone in her class is up to date. Very grateful for her and for creme. I have my 3 year old and a 5 year old enrolled. And couldnt be happier.
Posted by a parent on 3/7/2017My son has been here since he was 3 months old, we are moving away and sadly have to leave creme, The environment and facilities are wonderful. I do wish all the teachers were degreed but it doesn't change the fact that they still teach to a curriculum, teach independence and the kids are happy. In the nearly 4 years we have been here there is little turn over. Summer is always hectic and they hire some newbies in the summer to keep camp going. But overall high marks!
Posted by a parent on 9/6/2013Continuation.... The gym? the teacher had no clue about what to do and was mad all the time (the assistant never did anything about the way children were being mistreated). I saw so many children crying w/o no teacher paying attention to them. I saw so many happy parents dropping their children w/o really knowing what happens there after they are dropped off. I just feel so sorry for all the children whose precious hours are spent there while their parents think they are OK. Trust me, they are not OK there, it is NOT a healthy environment for a child. Why? because the teachers who are hired seem to be there just to get paid and not because they like children at all, they don't have any patience and also because they just seem to treat children they way they were treated at home, sad situation... I know it is super hard to find a place in Houston with loving people to watch your children, but please ,don't let these people fool you, and don't let your children be there, they deserve better. I think even a in home nanny would be much much better. Stay there w your child at least 3 hours to see the real thing there, you will know exactly what I am talking about.
Posted by a parent on 6/11/2013I enrolled my 2 year old son in downtown Houston Creme de la Creme and decided to withdraw him only after one month. The teacher in his class was not always there as she was filling up other absent teacher's places in other classrooms. I found that the assistant teachers were rude to the kids and showed absolutely no compassion when they cried. They have the method to leave kids cry alone until they finally give up. To me, the environment was not happy, specially when you have several unattended children crying in one room.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere's a reason this school has been rated a 5. They are extremely unorganized and their children have failed testing year after year. To this day, when I ask my child if he wants to return to Young Scholars, his response is "No"..."I don't like it"..."It's dirty". When joking with him that he was going to return to Young Scholars, he began to cry. One word...RUN!!!Parent Review10y ago - Bright Futures CDC

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCathedral House is simply an amazing place. My two older children attended Nursery through Kindergarten, and they loved it. It was more than just a school to them; it was a second family. They helped my oldest child through an extremely sensitive phase, and she is now thriving at the best private school in town. They gave my middle child a confidence that I haven't seen since. If the location still worked for me, I would try my hardest to get my youngest admitted. The fanciest, most elite preschools in town simply can't compare to the love that your child will receive at Cathedral House.Parent Review10y ago - Gregory-Lincoln Ed Center

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe had 2 foster kids that were enrolled in this school. Initially the 3rd grader was placed in 1st grade because they couldn’t get her grades from her old school. The kids would come home with class work where the teachers wrote things like “excellent” or “100%” when there were very clear mistakes on the work. There was zero communication from either of the teachers and they showed no interest in helping the kids succeed.Parent Review11mo ago - Our Lady Of Guadalupe School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school creates a family environment and my son has really thrived. The new administration seems to be really pushing the school forward academically and working within the neighborhood. I hope it continues to grow the way it is now.Parent Review6y ago - Trinity Lutheran School
