Love this school. My son was accepted to the G/T program where they children stay in that class for the entire day. Miss Miller was excellent!

We love Oppe because it has a great focus on academics, while still allowing kids PE (I have recently heard many parents complain that PE is no longer offered at their kids' schools) and other non-academic pursuits during the day. She is very attentive to the kids and even gets involved with the special events they have and plays right along side the kids. My daughter comes home every day excited about some new thing that she learn

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere are some great things at this school. The majority of teachers really care about their students and provide a strong educational foundation. However , the administration , particularly the superintendent ignores issues , rather brushing them under the rug for appearance sake. Including when it is reported a teacher is mistreating students. Teachers are overworked and taken advantage of to add another “checkmark” on the list of what is done. This school has awesome teachers and students, my daughter has learned quite well for her age. And though we had part remote learning last yeart and will have some this new 2021 school year that I truly believe that my daughter will fall right in place for her grade this year due to her excelling prior to this pandemic.
