Ambassadors Preparatory Academy

My daughter has been at this school for four years now and we have never had a problem that was not addressed immediately and or resolved. This school has awesome teachers and students, my daughter has learned quite well for her age. And though we had part remote learning last yeart and will have some this new 2021 school year that I truly believe that my daughter will fall right in place for her grade this year due to her excelling prior to this pandemic. I will definitely send my child to this school.

I would not ever recommend a parent to send their child to this school unless your child is a genius and you don't plan on challenging Dr. Williams about anything.

APA is a great school as long as you can tolerate Dr Williams is what I was told before enrolling my child. Dr Williams is at times aggressive if you challenge her. She will approach you and inquiry about why you are dropping your student off late or picking them up early, even if other parents are around. All of this is personally intrusive. Additionally, there isn't a written policy stating you can not check your student out unless she finds the reason appropriate. Lastly, the board for the charter and school are intertwined. There is no immediate recourse when you have an issue with Dr Williams. You can not go to the TEA website and get contact information for the board members, you can only leave a message with...Dr Williams. Dr Williams is the principle and superintendent and her husband is the dean of students. Our government has better checks and balances than this school.

Excellent school! Teachers work very hard to help the students. They stay until 5:00pm to provide help to students who need it. The school also provides opportunities for students to travel out-of-state and out-of-country, thus, giving them a different perspective, making them more aware of what is happening outside Texas.

As a teacher at Ambassadors Preparatory I can honestly say that we have a single-minded emphasis on academic excellence. Any student or parent will find that if one's desire is to improve and grow in the 21st century skills necessary as a contemporary citizen of the world APA is the place to be.
