This school is fine. It's not the best but I do think its up there somewhere.

Best school ever! The teachers are the best and they help my kid learn really well. I would recommend this school

As a parent of 3 kids who attended Stafford middle school, I would not say this is a great school. My kids did not enjoy this school as much as I had hoped. Coming from a family of educators school is significant for us. However, my kids did not feel understood in this environment. My youngest child recently graduated from school and did not feel respected by their peers because they are neurodivergent and weren't well understood. Because of this they were bullied and called not appropriate words. However, my kids did enjoy the fine arts department and took comfort in band, orchestra, choir, and theater. My kids also expressed that some of the admin and administrators were not as kind-hearted as you would hope for in a principal. The school outside-of-school hours activities were well organized so I will give props to that. Despite all that, there were some good teachers, and students there for my kids, and I'm glad they at least got an education.

I was wondering how the reviews were so positive and then I realized that they were mostly outdated. I was a student at Stafford a few years ago, and the experience there was very mixed. I will say that I've had some of the best teachers I've ever met at that school, and the curriculum itself is not too over nor underwhelming for most students. However, the rating really goes down when it comes to staff and administration. Friends and I alike have had teachers that were outright unprofessional, rude, and unhelpful. It baffles me how some of these people work in a school when they seem to despise of children so much. Some of these teachers fail children on purpose, there is a lot of favoritism involved in the fine arts and sports programs, and the counselors are selective in who they help. I have friends who have been successfully helped by counselors, but when my parents reached out to get me into counseling to help with personal problems, they never followed up with even an appointment or meeting. The administration staff is also very rude, more specifically towards students whenever they work with them such as during lunch or in the hallways. Despite this, the front office staff is very nice, though I'm not sure the same people are still there from when I attended. Bullying was also a problem that many friends and acquaintances experienced but it was minimally dealt with. Again, favoritism plays a huge part in who the staff cares about and involved themselves with.By the way, my eighth grade year we had three shooting threats in the course of maybe two months. On those days, people were crying, having anxiety attacks, and rushing home in fear. Not ideal. In all, I wish I went to a different middle school and I pity my youngest sibling who currently attends Stafford.

Stafford is a wonderful school that has the most caring staff. We were lucky to move to where Stafford was being zoned and have been able to have both of our boys attend.
