Minett Elementary School

I’m very disappointed with our experience at this school. I was never informed of any behavior concerns while they were happening. Instead, issues were allowed to build up until they became “a big deal” that suddenly required paperwork and formal processes. Teachers from 1st grade and up have been cold and unwelcoming, making it difficult for my child to feel supported. The administration is extremely unhelpful, and getting any information or assistance feels like pulling teeth. Communication and compassion are severely lacking here, and it has left us feeling frustrated and unheard.

Purefoy is fantastic. The teachers are chosen for being loving first and academics second. My kids have thrived here. This school was ranked 10/10 when we bought our house in 2020. I believe the high number of students with disabilities has brought the scores down. The number of low income students has gone up some too. The leadership here is excellent, and we feel very blessed to have this as our neighborhood school.

Do your kids a favor and DO NOT Enroll them to this place kids are academically behind administration is ran by mean people there is CERO support for kids with learning disabilities they segregated students with ADHD or ADD is a toxic environment with bully mean group moms ,Where the students self esteem is harm student and parents are afraid of retaliation
