They don’t give us food before our football game
Posted by a community member on 10/14/2025Poor. Give your children a bright future and send them to a private school like Nolan that will encourage learning and giving them the tools they need to succeed in life. Or, transfer them to a better FWISD school such as Paschal or Arlington Heights.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is a joke. If your child has special needs don’t bring them here. They lied to me about the resources and the help they could provide to my daughter putting me in a very bad spot as a single parent. They offer a 504 plan but say they don’t have enough staff to accommodate my child but kept encouraging me and giving me false hope that things were going in the right direction. Even had me go out my way to get paperwork from my daughter’s therapist to see how they could help knowing they didn’t have the staff. That’s what they told me but I feel like because my daughter wasn’t making their job easy they wanted her out. So all in the same day they had me pick her up because she had a hard time in the computer and on top of that called me later and said she can’t attend. The lady I spoke to kept offering half days but would also say “but due to staff we will probably still call you to pick her up” before I wasn’t getting any calls about her behavior just about her not feeling well so I’m not sure what’s the real problem but this school isn’t right for special needs children.Parent Review8mo ago - East Handley Elementary School
