NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a current student at Radford School. Radford School is a small private school. It has very nice teachers but, most of them are above the age of 70, plus not very qualified/good teachers. Most of the highschool students take multiple classes online which have to connection to the professors and most don't need to put alot of effort. I would only recommend this school for students that are going to pre-k , elementary, and 6th grade. For highschool, I don't think its worth the money. There are only a few teachers that actually teach well, alot of the others is just faking it till you make it. For all the hype, I expected that the school be very nice and clean. The staff are working very hard, but the school is stuck on tradition and keeping the building how it was 100 years ago. The same carpets, same windows, same walls, and we just barely got new working bathrooms and water fountains. The good experiences are the lunch and the people you meet, which can change based on the type of student you are. The school is pretty strict, with uniform requirements.
