Read what parents are saying about Canutillo High SchoolThis is the best school in texas that i've ever seen.
Posted by a parent on 11/17/2022Couldn’t ask for a better High School. Facility is new, huge, and amazing. Sports facilities are phenomenal for a high school, seriously, they look like they should be on a major University, and the bussing and meal program is the best I’ve ever seen. Our kids live like Hobbits. Wake up, eat 1st breakfast at home, bussed to school, 2nd breakfast (all students get this for free), lunch (free again), play sports, 1st dinner (free), and sports bus home. Amazing for a large and active family!
Posted by a parent on 11/13/2019Horrible, the teachers seem to focus more on the students who do not try at all, and leave the ones who actually want to be there. Teachers do not give out homework or regular work in class, most days students do nothing but stay on the phone. But, whenever there is a special guest, everything changes.
Posted by a student on 4/16/2018People don't give this school enough credit, for I believe it's one of the most beautiful and friendly schools in the city of El Paso. The students there are pretty down to earth and most of them are high character guys.I've heard nothing but nice things from the transfer students, so any parents thinking of giving Canutillo a chance, their son or daughter would be in good hands.
Posted by a student on 9/12/2015Honestly, I know this school sometimes has poor reviews but it is a great school. The campus is beautiful, most teachers are great and supportive, and the students are friendly. I moved to Texas and was nervous about going to a new school but this school made it very easy for me to make the transformation. It's a great school. Sports and education is very good.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has been excellent for my son. He has been in the dual language program since kinder and has flourished in both English and Spanish. We speak English only at home, but he is able to communicate with other family members and classmates in Spanish. He even had the confidence to participate in the Spanish spelling bee! He has had great dual language teachers so far. Great communication with the teachers, they are always a text or email away. I also love the school's use of apps to keep parents updated on events. We have never had a problem with a teacher or another student at this school, but if we did I trust the Principal Mr. Barba would take care of it appropriately.Parent Review4y ago - Canutillo Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageReally bad teachers. Really bad principal…. Doesn’t take criticism. She gets offended and doesn’t have leadership. Principal just believe whatever her workers say.. She doesn’t care about parents opinions. She won’t do anything to help…Parent Review2y ago - Gonzalo And Sofia Garcia Elementar

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe assistant principal and principal need to make sure they hire teachers who have a lot of patience for children who are very young. Instead of hiring people who want to have 4 year olds being constantly told to sit in a little space on a carpet for more than 2 hours to be told a story. The school acts like they care about the children but in fact their their hands up in the air and say "I dont know I wasn't there to witness what happened".Parent Review4y ago - Kohlberg Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhen we joined this school in 2014, it was a terrible place to be, despite the efforts of some amazing teachers. The principal and vice principal were terrible and cruel to parents, students, and teachers alike.Since they have been replaced with outstanding administration, all of that has changed. When we moved away at the end of 2017, we were very happy with Kohlberg and sad to leave such a wonderful and caring community.Parent Review5y ago - William C Herrera Elementary School
