Sacred Heart has been around for more than 100 years. It is a wonderful school where students are taught, not only academics, but are encouraged to think outside the box. They highly support creativity, and instill important life values. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a safe and protective environment for their children.

I have been very pleased with the curriculum at St JES. Spalding & Chicago Math are not how I was taught in the public school system but I am amazed at what my kids have learned this way. I also really love the Nancy Larson Science curriculum. I have a 4th grader & 1st grader. The hands on experiences, field trips, & special events make lasting impressions & it is a wonderful, evolving, & constantly improving school. Problems are addressed when identified & it is a nurturing environment--not perfect, but the best in town. Behavior management in the lunchroom & on the playground need improving, but this goes on everywhere. I have a teaching degree & have taught in the local school system. SJES is small, welcoming of volunteers, & gives kids a strong educational foundation to build on wherever their life takes them!
