I have been very pleased with the curriculum at St JES. Spalding & Chicago Math are not how I was taught in the public school system but I am amazed at what my kids have learned this way. St. James Episcopal School is a great place to teach. As a teacher, I was encouraged to 'make learning come alive'. This is school is an excellent enviroment for all children. I personally attended as native spanish speaker with the main purpose of learning english. The personal attention I received helped me excel in learning English. The campus has a great atmosphere and good morals.

I had a child go through most of St James School's program (2nd gr through 8th). I have another child who will graduate the 8th grade having been taught there since pre-K. Were all the teachers universally excellent? No. Were all the teachers even people I liked? No. Were there slump years? Yes. But
