Read what parents are saying about Del Rio Middle SchoolGood music program, all of the band kids hang out together & stay out of trouble. Fair academic programs. Definately get your child involved with UIL (it starts early in the school year). This school was much better than I expected, my daughter didn't have any trouble with fights or bullies. Drop off & pick up is a huge pain in the neck.
Posted by a parent on 3/19/2014i have to say that the school is okay, but whom ever thought of the idea of how to drop off our children is just ridiculous. It is a good 20-30 minute wait to drop off your child. Someone really needs to come up with a different alternative. Than they don't want the kids to be trady but because of the traffic there no way to be on time, unless you send the night there.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers are knowledgeable and provide a great enviroment to the students. However, it seems there is a certain disconnect between the teacher and administration staff. The administration lacks to support the teachers when it comes to disciplining the students. This results in students becoming repeat offenders due to the lienancy in disciplinary action. I will admit the students that required disciplinary action are small minority of the student population but it still can result in hinder in creating a well-rounded academic enviroment for the rest of the students.Other Review13y ago - Sacred Heart Catholic School
