All I'll say is thank God this school got shut down. Their special education program was so abhorrent and abusive it traumatized my child and others. They allowed a para to bully the students year after year, and they could never retain a teacher for that classroom for longer than a year or two. I c

They did try to help but still he was not really looked at as capable by teachers. The class teacher at the time was also very cold and lack empathy. He was the youngest in the class and couldn’t read at the level. The pressure on parents to get my kid to read and spell was unreal when the teaching in classroom was so basic. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have loved our Mitchell Community, which is a caring, engaging and loving group of teachers, parents and the larger community. This Great Schools data is a little outdated. We are seeing academic growth for our scholars and lots of opportunities for the kids to participate in development opportunities with arts. The PTA is amazing and does so much to help create fun events and memories for our students.
