Allen Elementary School has a welcoming environment to all students.Here at Allen, students are cared for, loved, and supported each day. Being a current teacher at Allen and have been for 6 years, I can say that our school has the best teachers and administration! The community in our school is very uplifting and always striving for success within our students.

I wouldn't send my kids here. The administration has a high turn over rate and the teachers talk trash about the students. You go to speak with someone and the lady in the front is rude. Some of the teachers are wonderful and really care about the kids the rest are really bad.

I switched from TG Allen to this school thinking it was going to be better, but my experience here has been very bad. it seems like all they care about is money and their numbers and how they look online funny how they have their Google ratings turned off and you can't even read them on Facebook, they don't have a set time for when they close the gate 3:17-3:20 they usually wait till the line has died a bit then close it and take all the kids inside and making have to get off your vehicle and pick them up inside then make you sign a paper that you picked them up late, they charge if they have pajama day when other don't they try and get money so may different ways, if you are late they make you feel very uncomfortable out saying they close at a certain time also the front desk lady ALWAYS had some sort of attitude and it's not very welcoming! it like it's always an inconvenience to her if you need to go to her window and ask her a question or need something. my kids will be will be going back to TG allen i made a huge mistake thinking this would be better when tg allen felt more like a home, more welcoming and love and felt like they cared for the kids more rather then their image.

2 of my daughters go here this is my third year at Zavala and I love this school. The staff shows genuine love for what they do and I have had not but good communication with each member of the staff that I meet. I love the classes that they have to offer the parents as well as the many school activities my children can participate in. I look forward to my other 2 children attending this school in the near future.

We moved our 4-year old to IWA recently from another local catholic private school where we felt he wasn't being challenged. We couldn't be happier at IWA, from leadership to the faculty and especially the parents. This is a highly engaged school and parent teacher group. The Montessori Spanish immersion pre-k program taught by Sra Angela is truly world class. We are looking forward to another great year at IWA!

My son is about to begin his third year at First Baptist School, and my daughter will be starting her first year in the Pre-K 2 program in the upcoming fall semester. We have been immensely impressed from day one with everything FBS has to offer, from the loving, nurturing environment to the academic and biblical curriculum.My son is in Pre-K this year, and he can already read and spell simple words and combine phonemes, and he is able to do simple mental addition and subtraction. He can also count beyond 20 at only four years old, and he loves to read and write on his own, which tells me that his teachers have helped him develop an intrinsic love of learning. As a public school teacher myself, I can't express how important that is. They've made learning fun for him, and he values knowledge and understanding, and every day he tells his sister that she needs to come to his school because it is so much fun and she will learn so much.We were very sad to learn that they did away with the 1-5 grade level program for the upcoming school year, but I am sure that times will change again and eventually it will be re-opened.My husband went to school here, and his mother used to teach here years ago and was on the board of directors for many years thereafter, so our family has a ton of pride and faith in FBS. If you're looking for a school that will both nurture and teach your child while fostering a sense of wonder and interest in learning of all sorts, look into the Little Lambs Pre-K 2 & Pre-K 3 Programs, and the Pre-K and Kinder programs at FBS; hopefully, we can spread the word about how wonderful this school is so that the upper grades may begin enrolling again in the coming years.
