2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have a second grader at PCE and we love it. We actually did out of district enrollment to stay at PCE because of how great the experience is. They have free breakfast and lunch for every kid, nobody goes hungry. They even let my kid grab breakfast if/when she is late. My kid comes home telling me about all sorts of stuff she learned and I feel like she is retaining things well. There are lots of opportunities to be involved as a parent, and the PTA does a great job. Principal Gaston has been fair and responsive, Mr. House always makes sure kids are greeted in the morning with a smile. They have a boys and girls club after school program that goes until 5:30. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school helped kids learn a lot, but its been bad (at least in 2025, currently). They make the children run laps nonstop sometimes, plus they make them have silent lunch, even though lunch is one of the only times they get to talk freely with each other. The lunch monitors make the kids go outside after their lunch, and make them run laps, also wasting one of the only times they get to talk and have free time. Their excuse is: "Oh, we expect more of 5th graders because they're the leaders of the school." Also, whenever one student does something bad during lunch, like face the opposite side of their food, the WHOLE 5th grade gets in trouble, and they can't talk for the rest of lunch. Their excuse for this is that "5th grade is a team". Like what? Your punishing them all for something small, and something 1 person did? Some of the staff just seem really controlling. But either way, I think this school is good to send your kid to.Other Review1y ago13 Reviews - Dessau Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy 4 kids have all gone to this school. They always love there teachers there but the new principles always seem to be the problem. The inexperienced principles change all the time and run the good teachers off who always stayed before. Miss Anderson, miss wyly, Mr Moreno and miss carillo keep my kids excited because they know those teachers will always be there even if others don't come back after the summer. Now we hearr Dessau might close down like it was going to 3 years ago. I am so glad these teachers stayed when the other ones left. The principle now needs a lot of work but her male assistent really helps a lot. I expect next year will be the last of this school so at least my kids still there can count on the teachers they love still thereParent Review3mo ago8 Reviews - Copperfield Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSon was traumatized after attending only 4 weeks at this school. Teacher would NOT follow his 504, he came home covered in bruises (yes I have pictures), and complained of other kids bullying him. We had to pull him because of how bad his panic attacks got and is now currently in trauma therapy.Parent Review1y ago8 Reviews - Delco Primary School

Mucha gracias otra vez !!!!!Parent Review1mo ago12 Reviews - Wieland Elementary School
