There are many opportunities to be involved with sports, band, and extracurricular activities such as UIL just to name a few. It is a well balanced school that offers many classes and activities. They engage with the parents and families with PTO and family fun nights with events inviting families to participate. 2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageConnally is the worst school in the PFISD School District. The school is very dirty and we have roaches, mice, bats, and wasps. This school is super unsafe and just completly horrible the counsolurs barley reach out to the students for anything and the teachers don't even teach. We didn't even have a Homecoming we just had a school game and we still had to pay 8 dollars to attend. I am constantly pulled out of class for fire drills because people smoke in the restrooms and overall the staff is just the worst. This place is such a sorry excuse for a school compared to the other schools in the district. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth of my children attended CES K-5 and it was a wonderful experience. I also volunteered at the school 1-2x per week, in the classroom, most years and for events. The teachers are engaged with the students and very supportive. The administration is first class and the community is welcoming and wonderful. We had a couple of issues over the years from bullying, fighting, generalized elementary kid drama. Every instance was dealt with my child's best interest at heart proactively and sufficiently. I realize everyone has their own experience. The poor reviews of this school are not aligned at all with what I saw or experienced.
