Thelma Jones Elementary School

My daughters improved a lot every year at this school, and I like the way they very strict at school. She likes that the library is fun and always has has something fun to do.

Teachers needs to improve the good of personality when with a TEACHER'S TITLE !( Telling the true, do the right things, responsibility as a good TEACHER for being teaching a young generations). Please DO NOT be like today YES and tomorrow NO !!!

Thelma Jones is fabulous! My son was in kindergarten this past year and I could not have asked for better teachers or administration. He enjoyed all of the Enrichment classes too. They take pride in their Unity program and it's nothing like I've ever seen. The teachers that greet the students outside in the mornings are a joy to see every day. They address my son by name as they open the car door. There is great communication from the teachers and from the Office. PTA is active and wants your help! If you can, make sure you volunteer a little, it's well worth it. MISD is proving to really be a great place to be in. We are blessed to have another 4 years here!

Thelma Jones Elementary is a great school. My step son attended here a few years back. And now both my daughters are here. We have had 5+ years at this school. I love the staff and the constant communication. I have only had one issue and brought it to VP attention. I did not receive any resistance and things were taken care of immediately. Every teacher has been amazing and truly love what they do. Lots of parents are involved. They do so much to make your feel like family. My kids are doing very well. I have had experience with an adjacent school district prior and MISD is top notch and way ahead of the curve.

Our son previously attended this school from kindergarten to 4th grade. This school is filled with the most wonderful teachers on earth! Our son really enjoyed his childhood partly because of the wonderful environment at T.J.E. Things got even better once Principal Gray arrived & was there for his final 3 years ! I did not really appreciate how remarkable he was until our child entered another school. Appreciate T.J.E's teachers & staff because there is no other place to find such wonderful & supportive educators. I really loved the leadership and dedication. Our son was taught solid academics. One thing about T.J.E. is that your child will become the most respectful, intelligent, educated, humble, and caring human being. It was a great 5 years! Mr. Gray, Mrs. Bloodworth, Ms. Phillips-Brown, Ms. Anders/Williams, and Ms. Conklin were grand.
