Arlington High School

The worst experience for me and my kids at this horrible school. Mcduffy needs to be fired and the principal Adam’s. When you hire teachers you need to know if they actually want to teach and have communication and social skills with kids and not for just a paycheck.

To express my serious concerns regarding the environment It has become evident that there is ongoing harassment and mistreatment directed toward Black students within the institution.Despite these issues being brought to light, the administration has failed to take appropriate action. There have been instances where racial slurs are used, yet the principal and assistant principal have refused to address these incidents or foster an environment where children can learn and grow safely. Furthermore, the behavior of certain groups within the school is deeply concerning.I strongly advise against enrolling children in this environment, as the current leadership and specific groups occupying the school do not demonstrate the necessary care or respect for all students.

I am happy to recommend South Davis Elementary based on my family’s wonderful experience with the school over the years. My oldest son attended South Davis Elementary from Kindergarten all the way through 6th grade. My middle son has attended South Davis since Pre-K and is now entering 4th grade. Having children at the school for so many years has allowed me to truly get to know the staff and the school community. One of the things I appreciate most is the office staff. They have always been kind, welcoming, and helpful, and they know both me and my children by name. They consistently make families feel valued and supported.I also feel that South Davis is a safe environment where students can learn and grow. As a parent, knowing my children are in a school where I feel comfortable leaving them each day gives me peace of mind.Principal Mrs. Kelly has done a wonderful job leading the school. She is caring, professional, and dedicated to the students and families. While I haven’t always agreed with every member of the administration, my overall experience with South Davis Elementary has been overwhelmingly positive.I would absolutely recommend South Davis Elementary to other families looking for a caring, safe, and welcoming school for their children. My family has been proud to be part of the South Davis community, and I am grateful for the positive experiences my children have had there.

I am a parent of a child who is autistic, second day of leaving my child at the school at the front door with no one there to guide them inside the classroom. That worries me as it is day 2. Day one we were able to drop off our child to class directly, you think a 5 year old knows where to go? On the day of meet the teacher, they started late- okay, needed to get people settled in. Then we go over title something and maybe attendance but it was more of funds per student, seeing qualifications of all personnel which is new to me because when I worked as an attendance clerk back in 2017-2021 I never had that. They rush through many parts of that night, it was so disorganized where they did not let certain age groups go ahead first to their respective destinations and everyone was everywhere making it hard for those with disabilities like myself to manage. They I think are understaffed because I saw the assistant principal helping at the desks where parents were getting their students classroom information to “meet the teacher”. When I went to get mine, I got the wrong class the first time and had to go back to the office again to get the correct one. I understand there was an issue with registering my. Hold on a class not that I had not completed registration because I did, twice, serious lack of understanding or knowledge or even communication at that school between support staff, maybe even teachers who don’t know and are depending on support staff for direction. That trickles down the line to our kids. I’m considering taking my child out and put some place else. Maybe it might go better but it’s a risk I have to take down the road.

Escuela pública ?? Parece escuela privada que no aceptan a niños bilingües, solo que ablen inglés son unos rasistas
