Read what parents are saying about Central High SchoolSCHS has come a long way since Mr. Harwell took over. The moral has improved and kids actually care about coming now. Mr. Davis has done a great job with fixing attendance issues at the school.

Administration is putting a solid team in place and the teachers here want to see their students succeed. Every school has its issues but I believe SCHS is addressing problems more effectively than some others.
Posted by a parent on 4/3/2019The students at this school are disrespectful and disruptive. The administration does not have a handle on the situation. Most of the teachers do not have control of their classrooms and quite honestly don't seem to care. This makes it very difficult for children who WANT to learn and there are some who do. The administration talks a good game, but they don't come through on their promises.
Posted by a parent on 9/4/2018My son is enrolled in this school and there is a lot of drama, cliques, and fights among the students. Very disappointed and thinking of making a long drive just to have him enrolled in a good school!

Each student gets a very satisfied amount of time with their teachers. The whole staff is well groomed and clean cut. They care and treat your child as if one of their own.
