We’re new to Nashville and the love and support from Dan Mills have both made the journey easy for our twins. After attending the summer’s Promise program at Dan Mills, our twins entered their first year of school at Dan Mills. The staff were all welcoming from the start. They were/are intentional about meeting the parents and work with each student based on their names. For example, our twin girl was recommended to participate in the social skills program, whereas our twin boy was recommended to the Dragon Scholar program. Both enjoy their respective program and continue to thrive in their new roles as students. Highly recommended. If you’re a parent who enjoys walking to and from school, this is the place from you. She has cherished every teacher she has had, they each hold a special place in her heart, especially her kindergarten teacher who has inspired her with the goal of becoming a teacher herself. The staff warmly welcomes parents to come for lunch with their child, they have family activities throughout the school year, and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved as a parent through an active PTO.We as a family have had great experiences with the principal, teachers and staff and the school itself.
