Hattie Cotton had a Great Open House tonight!

8-27-25 with the fear of not being safe in school nationwide, why did a teacher admittingly in a recorded conversation that she was made aware of, put her foot on my granddaughter’s chair to get her attention? Most parents teach our kids to keep our feet on the floor. An admission of guilt is not good enough, but social media insight for one solution is. How can our children feel safe when supposed professionals, don’t have together emotionally. We deserve better, and if retaliation or bullying occurs, I’ll follow up. All it takes is 1 teacher, 5th grade specifically, to stain the integrity of what the school had represented for years. My children attended, and as a grandparent, I don’t expect anything less, for my family and all families. To put one’s foot on a chair is equivalent to putting her foot anywhere else, but on the floor. This action was witnessed by the class. What if the culprit is on the inside and not lurking from the outside. Schools are designed to be a safe place and not one that inflicts trauma.

Horrible school. Horrible teaching and mentoring, and no discipline or guidance. Don't send your children here. Trust me.
