John T. Moore Middle School

Our boys have been with Linden for three years, since preschool. We moved to a neighborhood in Nashville for the zoned public elementary, but were overwhelmed with the setting and leadership at Linden; it was an easy decision to transition into the Waldorf environment. The focus on the child, supported with data, meeting children where they are in their development vs the public model focused on testing with limited outdoor/free play, was the biggest driver in our decision making. We would not have selected another private school. We feel so luck to be part of this special community of families and educators. When considering other cities to live, we will forever seek a community with a Waldorf school to join.

An academic focussed school that also offers various other opportunities. Our son in grade 6 is thriving here, the staff and teachers are very involved and motivated, there is emphasis on academic rigor. Ample opportunity in sports and extra curricular activities.Highly recommend this school .

I think this school is great for a typical child but sadly the Solly school charges 3x thr normal tuition for a child with special needs. Seems like a money grab to me. The purpose of education should be about integrating all children and providing individual supports. Not keeping children with special needs separate....do better LA
