John Overton Comp High School

hi! let me start off by saying i wouldnt really call this school good. i used to be a student here and it was awful. i got bullied SO much every day because of my differences. every single day my mental health got worser and worser. they gossip about diverse & disabled people (right infront of the teachers), and no one does anything. i really dont understand how the people here just casually brush bad things off?? racism, ableism, etc was heard AND wasnt taken care of. im disappointed to be honest. only a few teachers were nice heresooo id say this school is not recommended

I think this school is great for a typical child but sadly the Solly school charges 3x thr normal tuition for a child with special needs. Seems like a money grab to me. The purpose of education should be about integrating all children and providing individual supports. Not keeping children with special needs separate....do better LA

My son has attended Lipscomb Academy for 12 years. He loves the school. He has received an amazing education. He is in all honors and AP classes. He plays football and is highly involved in the Arts. Lipscomb has given him so much love and support through his time there. He has grown into a very well rounded, responsible young man. I credit Lipscomb Academy for helping make him the young man he is becoming.
