Posted by a parent on 11/7/2022The teacher for world history teaches the children to hate America. He is always teaching pro-communism lessons and even has a framed photo of Putin in the classroom. I monitored my son’s lessons all year and I was flabbergasted. It is sad that this is able to even happen. I got my son out of this school. The middle school was great but not the high school.
Posted by a parent on 8/23/2021We chose White Station for their optional program and reputation. Early in we realized we should have just went with our assigned neighborhood school, which most of my child's friends attended. Our child was experiencing a serious medical issue and the administration had one of the most apathetic, uncaring attitudes I have ever experienced in the SCS system. They offer no support on issues with your child or their teachers. Thank goodness for the guidance counselors and their compassion, the only way to survive this school! Some teachers were very good, while others made it obvious their only interest was in their top performers. They even had a band teacher who had a reputation for reducing high school students to tears with his demeaning remarks. I know a couple of them who lost their love of playing music after those experiences. The school cares so much about state test scores, but so little about things that matter. If you think this is the same school you attended, think again....
Posted by a parent on 7/12/2021There is never any toilet paper in any of the bathrooms, they are disgusting and smell disgusting. People walk around acting a fool hollering and playing loud music and do not get in trouble. It is also winter and we don't even have heat in most classes. Some teachers even use their personal problems against students to make work hard for them, this school isn't what it's said to be.
Posted by a community member on 1/10/2017It has afforded my Daughter a great Public Education that is above the rest. She has been able to maintain an Honor Curriculum while being exposed to a very Diverse Student Body

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have had a wonderful experience at St. Agnes Academy- St. Dominic School. Our son is in his fourth year at the school and our daughter started this year. The sense of community has been a huge blessing to us. It is so comforting to know that our children are loved and cared for physically, mentally and spiritually. The school does a great job of connecting students of different ages and allowing them to learn from and support each other. Also, the student to teacher ratio provides an individualized approach to learning while in a group setting. It is such a unique school setting where we are able to have both our son and daughter on the same campus while catering to their different educational needs. Providing a coed experience and then strategically separating to all boys/all girls at pivotal times is one of the many factors that sets SAA-SDS apart. We love SAA-SDS and are excited to see what the future has to offer and how it is shaping our children into successful and well-rounded individuals.Parent Review1y ago - Holy Rosary Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAbsolutely terrible. I respect the fact that it has helped me build character along the lines of understanding that life is unfair and what not but over all, no middle schooler deserves to be treated the way I was at this school.Other Review4y ago - Christ Methodist Day School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhen it comes to cleanliness I’ll give it a 2 out of 10 . Teachers and Assistant Teachers let students EAT in the classrooms throughout the day it seems like they can’t even so much as pull the chairs up on the table for the people who comes and clean the school. THERE SHOULD BE A NO EATING POLICY INSIDE THE CLASSROOMS because like why is the cafe open if the rooms look exactly like the cafeteria and it’s way more to say but I’ll hold itOther Review1y ago - St. Mary's Episcopal School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe classes are small. Since it is so small it is hard for new kids to fit in. There are two main groups the popular sporty kids and the not.Student Review11mo ago - Woodland Presbyterian School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI think that this school is amazing in terms of the education quality and overall learning experience. The teachers are very engaging and definitely stay on top of the students. The only thing I do not love is the church. I am not Christian and this school is very church based, though not as heavy as some others. Some of the teachers over enforce Christian beliefs and one even made a very rude comment toward people of any other religion. Through and through, Woodland is a great school for the education and small class sizes.Student Review6mo ago - Memphis Junior Academy
