Excellent everything treat I was concern with they addressed

My son was not accepted due to his learning disability. Over the the phone explained my son's situation she made it sound like it's not a problem she emailed us the paper work and explained to us what we need to do. They also charge me $50.00 dollars to do an entrance test. It's sad after my son took the test she said they will call us back and give us the results. I received the phone call the following day just to be turned down and say they don't have any resources for my son and he didn't do well on his exam! My son was heart broken is this what's chatolic school do not give kids with disability a chance? If she knew my son's situation from the beginning why even waste our time!

I am very dissatisfied with how teachers interacts with prek students.

This is by far the worse school my daughter ever attended. She has complained about teachers inappropriate behaviors as well other students bullying her and eachother. Also, my daughter was trying out for the majorette's team. I was told to pick her up at a certain time after school that day. Well, try outs was cancelled and one of the school staff's did not allow my daughter to notify me nor did anyone else notify of the cancellation. Because of their unprofessional, inconsiderate decision, my daughter had to walk home during heavy rains. I was highly upset. I immediately called the school and got no answer. I feel like the school staff do not have a passion for their jobs because otherwise they would assure that these kids are safe and taught properly.

This is an incredibly sweet school filled with caring teachers, admin, and staff. There is a new principal at the school this year, and she is very engaged with families. It's a smaller school environment, but I have been at the school multiple times to eat with my child, read in classrooms, and volunteer with PTA. I have never seen a negative interaction with students and their teachers. I know MSCS gets a lot of hate, and the criticisms are justified, but Peabody is a treasure and is working so hard to create a wonderful learning environment for their students and families.
