Can't even teach my son the right way to spell his name

My grandson was enrolled yesterday and everyone seemed so nice and seemed like they really care for him and his education. I came from a 10/10 school in Nashville and was worried about the ranking being a 6/10 but my worries were put to rest when he came home happy and was up ready for the bus this morning at 6:30 when he is used to being on the bus at 7:45 with struggles! I think he is going to have a wonderful school life at Guild!! Go Gators.

I wish I would’ve taken the google reviews and the advice I was given by word of mouth seriously before ever letting my child set foot in this school. If you want your child treated fairly and just simply like a human being by not just their peers but the staff and personnel (as we all do) find a different school.

I've taught at 4 elementary schools over the past 29 years, and Union is hands down the best. The teachers here put in long hours, meticulously planning to best meet the needs of all of our students. Every teacher collaborates with their grade level team to share ideas and learn from one another. The staff truly cares about each other and our students. We have a strong PTO that supports both the staff and the children. Union has received numerous awards for volunteerism in the community. There are many programs in place to recognize, encourage, and support students such as advocacy groups, house systems, students of the month, care teams, free tutoring, and academic / behavior award programs. My own children were educated at Union and absolutely loved it. I've taught here for the last 20 years of my 29 year career and wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

This is our family’s first year at St. John Vianney Catholic School, and we absolutely love it. Although we are not of the Catholic faith, not one time have we been made to feel uncomfortable, different, or unwelcome. From day one, this school has felt like family.One of the biggest blessings this year has been Principal Brady Forrest. He truly made this year special for our family. He took the time to personally get to know each and every family and always made student safety and well-being a priority. What stands out most about him is how approachable and genuine he is. He never made himself feel “too high” or unreachable. We always felt comfortable speaking with him, and that means more than words can explain.Our family faced some unfortunate circumstances this year, and honestly, without his care, understanding, and assistance, I’m not sure we would have been able to remain at the school the entire year. His compassion and leadership made a lasting impact on us, and I truly hope he knows how appreciated he is.I also want to thank the entire staff at St. John Vianney. Every teacher, staff member, and person involved helps make this school what it is. Without them, the school would simply be a building. Together, they create a loving, supportive, and safe environment where children can truly grow and thrive.We are beyond grateful for our experience here and would highly recommend St. John Vianney Catholic School to any family looking for a school that truly cares.
