Read what parents are saying about Guild Elementary SchoolMy grandson was enrolled yesterday and everyone seemed so nice and seemed like they really care for him and his education. I came from a 10/10 school in Nashville and was worried about the ranking being a 6/10 but my worries were put to rest when he came home happy and was up ready for the bus this morning at 6:30 when he is used to being on the bus at 7:45 with struggles! I think he is going to have a wonderful school life at Guild!! Go Gators.
Posted by a parent on 1/21/2015My family LOVES Guild Elementary!!! I can not say enough about the teachers, principal, and staff. They truly care about each childs education, safety and well-being. By the way, we choose to send our children to Guild. We are out of zone. I feel that says a lot about this wonderful school!!!!
Posted by a parent on 10/25/2013They do everything they can to make sure you child is successful in everything they do! Every teacher is hands on and the principal knows each child by his/her name. I went to this school as well as my mother and uncle. I would recommend Guild to everyone we love being a Guild Gator!!!!!
Posted by a parent on 10/24/2013I have two daughters in Guild. My oldest has been in school here since Pre-K and she is now in third. I also have another daughter that is in the second grade. They have had the best teachers a parent could ask for. The staff and Mr. Taylor as well as Mrs. Fuqua is the best. I go to Guild out of zone because of these reasons.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've taught at 4 elementary schools over the past 29 years, and Union is hands down the best. The teachers here put in long hours, meticulously planning to best meet the needs of all of our students. Every teacher collaborates with their grade level team to share ideas and learn from one another. The staff truly cares about each other and our students. We have a strong PTO that supports both the staff and the children. Union has received numerous awards for volunteerism in the community. There are many programs in place to recognize, encourage, and support students such as advocacy groups, house systems, students of the month, care teams, free tutoring, and academic / behavior award programs. My own children were educated at Union and absolutely loved it. I've taught here for the last 20 years of my 29 year career and wouldn't want to be anywhere else.Teacher Review1y ago - Benny C. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDear Mr. Henderson and Dr. Seccia, My daughter started at Benny Bills last year (2014/2015) for Kindergarten. She was placed in Mrs. Perry’s class, which turned out to be a great thing for her. She thoroughly enjoyed having Mrs. Perry as a teacher last year. I have personally praised Mrs. Perry directly for being an amazing teacher, but thought it was important to let those in charge at Benny Bills know as well. Mrs. Perry truly has a great love for these children and an amazing passion for teaching them. She also understands how important it is to keep parents informed/involved with their child’s school life. She sincerely cares about these children and it shows. I knew this from the very first week of school last year. I dropped her off in her class the first full day, and she cried when I left her. A couple hours later, I received a surprise call from Mrs. Perry to merely ease my mind and let me know that she was fine and not to worry about her. That made a difference to me and made me feel my daughter was in good care. I can’t tell you how important that is to a parent and she knew that. For the rest of the year, Mrs. Perry had an amazing impact on my daughter’s development all around. She kept me informed and was always open to suggestions about anything pertaining to my daughter. I really feel she flourished in her class and that Mrs. Perry prepared her so well for first grade this year. Mrs. Perry is definitely an asset to your school. I know that teachers are often underrated and not always given the credit they deserve, so I wanted to make sure this wasn’t the case with us. We are giving credit where credit is due. Kudos to Mrs. Perry! I will also say that my daughter has had an overall positive experience at Benny Bills thus far. She loves it there! I look forward to seeing how she does this year with Ms. Williams. I am hearing great things about her as well. Thanks for running a great school!Parent Review8y ago - St John Vianney Catholic School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average10 out of 10! Wonderful school with dedicated, loving and amazingly intelligent faculty. There is a focus on education and there is homework - you definitely get what you pay for. If you value your child's sports activities over homework each week, you may want to look elsewhere (however, my children are very active & we seem to balance both). I want my children to be challenged and I want them to be prepared for private high school and their test scores are showing we are on the right track. There is also a sense of community as every family knows each other. As my children are being well educated, I know that they are also happy, safe and part of something good. Parent involvement is key - the more you participate, the more you and your family get out of the experience. We are not Catholic but chose SJV because of the small class size, their focus on education, and the friendly community environment.Parent Review6y ago - Sumner Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children have been attending Sumner Academy since 2019, and we could not be happier. All the teachers are loving and invested in developing my children into good people and ensuring they are academically prepared for their future. The campus is small and welcoming and there are many events and traditions families get to participate in. It is truly a partnership between the school and our family, and we could not be happier for our kids!Parent Review9mo ago
