Read what parents are saying about Jere Whitson Elementary SchoolMy experience is really awful, I don’t recommend them.
Posted by a parent on 3/4/2024This is a very diverse school that's about half Hispanic. My child, who is not Hispanic, loves it. I love it, too. The teachers at Jere Whitson are super. The new addition to the building is very nice, too. it's a great school.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had 5 children go through Capshaw! It is a wonderful school that is dedicated to teach the students what needs to be taught. My older children breezed through middle and high school because I do believe of their foundation at Capshaw. My youngest is now in 3rd grade and it saddens me to know that we will only have another year after this year at this great school.Parent Review5y ago - Northeast Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to Northeast as a kid, and now my children go there. It's just as good today as it was 30 years ago! The teachers are wonderful, and the parent organization is very active and supportive.Parent Review12y ago - Park View Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI truly can not say enough about this school. My kids had an appointment that ended at two and begged to go back to school!! Mr. Winningham , the principal, aka Papa Panda is the best! The relationship he has with the kids is amazing and setting a great experience for the kids as to what to expect from school. Every morning is started with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag and an uplifting message to start the day. My 18 yr old daughter went to school here and now my 6 and 7 year olds... This schools values are timeless. I loved it then and I love it even more as we grow!Parent Review8y ago - Cookeville High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCookeville is a fantastic school. They offer so many options that my child would not have access to at another school. As a freshman taking Honors courses, as well as an AP course, and receiving afterschool assistance to get caught up in the math - I could not be more proud to have a Cavalier student!! My only negative (4.9 STAR) review is due to the fact that there isn't a safe place for the teens to go to after school. There seems to be no rules/regulation/supervision in the LEAPS program which is very disheartning to the point that I would not allow my teen to be there, and I have chosen to giveup my lunch break for an early pickup once school is out. This is unacceptable that my child does not feel safe in that environment.Parent Review1y ago - Sycamore Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have no knowledge how regular classes are conducted but the special needs classes are exceptional in this school. The teachers are caring and try their best to give these children everything they need.My son is Autistic and went there from 4th to 8th grade and excelled tremendously. His speech got so much better he can express himself and his feelings now.He also is very good in math loved the sport program's and the extra activities that were available in that school like swimming and visits to a horse stable that were qualified to work with special needs children. The children also give you valuable information what is available in the community for special needs children if you ask them.My experience with this school was the best. Also a personal thanks to Ms.Walker and Ms.Best who made our experience with this school so exceptional.Parent Review9y ago - Heavenly Host Lutheran School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter absolutely loves each teacher that is on staff. She is learning by leaps and bounds, and she is focused on learning and making a difference in life, at six years old. I would suggest anyone looking for a private school to check this one out. It's succeeds the exceptions of the children and the parents.Parent Review7y ago
