Posted by a parent on 3/23/2022From a very scholarly and hard working student I BEG YOU, if you love your child please don’t send them to this terrible school. They will most likely walk out with some kind of mental health issue. Big issues need to be addressed with this school.
Posted by a community member on 8/18/2020CHSW has been a nightmare experience for our family. From the administration to teachers there is zero support. Our son's guidance counselor has been ignoring us for months, even when my husband goes into the school and refuses to leave until someone talks to him. He has received rude, unhelpful treatment. They have no idea what they're doing regarding graduation requirements and their naviance system is broken and no one seems to know what to do to fix it. Run away from this school is possible.

Posted by a parent on 7/25/2018Cranston West is a great school. They have tons of sportsd my son signed up with. My daughter loved the clubs they had, especially the amazing drama club. Though some of the teachers are rude, most are genially nice.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children enjoyed their time at this school. Teachers communicate with parents when needes. Bullying was dealt with as soon as they knew about it. They give reasonable amounts of homework, and recess was always plentiful. I had great elementary schooling here. Everything is very traditional, teacher-centered, and geared to prepare students for passing the standard tests, not to become creative thinkers in the 21st century. Any student that has any learning disability will not be helped here - they don't have staff, training nor resources for it. You will be on your own.
