This school is great if you look at it from a distance. But if you actually experience it, then it's hell. The teachers are great, and the support is great. I mean, they really support special needs kids, and if you need something, then they will help you. BUT the thing is the kids..more especially

Posted by a parent on 1/27/2023I love how the special ed is included with their peers at this school. At my son's previous school IEP students were separated from everyone. At ETR he was in a regular classroom and treated like a"normal kid". I felt like this school addressed his IEP in both the social and academic aspects.

It was sad this year that the weekly morning mass was eliminated. It is a nice way to start the day. It also is nice for the community to bond with the school students. This year a teacher was hired who was one of a large family who attended SES. Her sibling graduated this year and the family was part of the community for 23 straight years. It is a huge tribute to the loving family created by the staff. I am hoping the numbers increase as this is a great school for my child to learn to be a loving and caring individual. When they day it takes a village they are not wrong. The combination of staff and parents who care turns out wonderful young people.
