Read what parents are saying about Pottsgrove Senior High SchoolMy current enrollment and two years of experience at this school already has show me what poor budget and lackluster teacher can do to a persons mental health

Posted by a parent on 5/30/2019Both of my children recently graduated from Pottsgrove HS and both are doing wonderfully in college. Their experiences at Pottsgrove helped to mold them into the young adults they are now. They both received an excellent education taught by caring, intelligent, dedicated teachers. Due to some of those teachers both of my children considered entering the education world themselves. Pottsgrove sometimes gets a bad rap and that's a shame, it's a truly great school that supports and encourages the students in so many diverse ways. From sports to music, art and a multitude of clubs, there's something for everyone. I can't say enough nice things about Pottsgrove Senior High School!!!
Posted by a parent on 3/3/2019I am a parent of two students who attended schools in Pottsgrove their entire careers. Both received academic based college scholarships after graduation - one to a highly selective university. One was an athlete who did well enough to compete at a Division I level in college. It's a diverse group of students with different levels of ability but my experience is that if the kids are diligent and the parents involved a good education is there for the taking.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOn the contrary to the last review, I believe that the school does promote an atmosphere of diversity in terms of ethnicity within the boundaries of Christianity. They have many international students as well as other students of diverse ethnicity. My children have attended since 2020 and I have had 4 children in the school. The education is excellent and has absolutely prepared my seniors for a college education, even with the short time that they were there. The curriculum is Christian based and intellectually engaging. The school teaches the children to be critical thinkers. The children are engaged with fun activities on a regular basis with fun events like History Day for Grammar school, Fall retreat for secondary, and trips week for each secondary grade. My children have not been there long and immediately made meaningful, lasting relationships. Parents are involved in their children's lives and the students are the type you want your kids to be around. Pulling my children out of a government run school into Coventry Christian was the best decision we made for our family.Parent Review7mo ago - St. Aloysius School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe education of my children has been superb. They have gone off to higher learning at this point and are succeeding on the college level due to the foundation which was received at Saint Aloysius Parish School.Parent Review6y ago - Wyndcroft School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been at Wyndcroft several years and will move on next year. There are good aspects such as 50% of the teachers, with good academics. There is virtually NO learning support and our two kids have needed help which resulted a passing grade when they were way behind with the material. When brought to the attention of teachers, nothing ever changed as social promotions happen and we understand the school keeps most everyone in for the tuition. From a friendly, social perspective, our kids have no friends as they don't seem to " fit in " with the rich and cool kids and have been berated or ostracized. Never invited to group parties or activities, and are often rejected in-out of school. Several disruptive students in classes which are never dealt with, but passed along. The Head of the school has been a huge disappointment in terms of leadership and being involved. Mostly unavailable. Found out from a friend she is not Hawaiian as she claimed. Just an odd, detached personality which lacks leadership and supervision. For the huge tuition, I wish we would have done a faith based school. Just time to move on.Parent Review3mo ago
