Read what parents are saying about St Francis Xavier SchoolPrincipal is very dry and treated me like one of the students. Refused to hear my complaints or my daughter's complaints. My daughter and I recently moved to this area and felt very unwelcomed by the students and principal. Her teacher was wonderful, empathetic, great communication, patient, and heaven sent.

Posted by a parent on 5/12/2018This is an excellent school. My children have attended since Pre-Kindergarten. They have opportunities for students of every level. There are Advanced Reading and Math classes for students above level, as well as Remedial classes for students below level. There are extracurricular activities such as Reading Olympics, French class, Choir, Basketball, Rowing and Softball. This school is truly diverse. All students seem quite happy. The academics are excellent, the teachers truly care, and there are plenty of opportunities for the students to learn and grow. I highly recommend St. Francis Xavier School to anyone.

The students are dazzled by the sheer beauty of their surroundings. The teachers are nice and friendly and they give special attention to students with developmental needs. Great environment for the children and families because the teachers care a lot and go above and beyond, despite the poverty salary. N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis preschool is a horrible place for both children and staff. The school is poorly managed and extremely unorganized. The teachers are understaffed and do not have classroom management skills or the resources to fix the situation. Your child will not be taught anything while here. The children are not treated well. Many of the children are violent, aggressive, struggling with developmental disabilities, or extreme behavioral issues. There is no behavioral specialist or special needs services to address this. Children become physically and verbally violent and aggressive with each other and towards teachers. Nothing is done about the behavior and the kids run wild around the school. There is no established system to restrain violent or runaway children, and they can sometimes be mishandled. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!
