Avoid this school. They have no interest in developing children's education or character. The teachers are oppose parental interests.

i have been going to sfx since i was in kindergarten and it has been quite the experience. there are some amazing teachers there that i really built a great relationship with, while other teachers are a whole different story… Our principal can be very nice at times, but doesn’t really care to welcome certain families, let alone being there for over 40 years and now about to retire from her post as principal. As a student of color, sfx is a predominantly white school with not many students of color in almost every grade. sometimes i feel that i cant be myself even if i wanted to. the classes are small and i feel that you dont get to know many people, but from personal experience the students are very nice and ive made really good friends. i will be graduating next year and hope the school could be more accepting and welcoming to certain students and families.

This preschool is a horrible place for both children and staff. The school is poorly managed and extremely unorganized. The teachers are understaffed and do not have classroom management skills or the resources to fix the situation. Your child will not be taught anything while here. The children are not treated well. Many of the children are violent, aggressive, struggling with developmental disabilities, or extreme behavioral issues. There is no behavioral specialist or special needs services to address this. Children become physically and verbally violent and aggressive with each other and towards teachers. Nothing is done about the behavior and the kids run wild around the school. There is no established system to restrain violent or runaway children, and they can sometimes be mishandled. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE! They will fall behind academically, pick up bad habits and behaviors from others, and mistreated.

I've been a part of Gesu School since 1996. I became Alumni in 2005. Since Sister Ellen departure (may she rest in peace) this school has gone downhill. She was replaced with the worst leader Alana Lee as principal. Alana makes discriminating comments about students, staff and families while showing favoritism to only a selected few. She is unprofessional and does not deserve to be a leader of this school. Teachers and staff barely stay the full school year and are disgusted with her leadership. Bryan Carter who is the president is also terrible and needs to be replaced. I would NOT RECOMMEND this school to anyone.
