Moffet John School

This is one of the bestest schools, if not the best elementary school in Philadelphia PA, it is such a great school, that it is even better than a private pay out of pocket schools. Principal Moody is an excellent, model Principal. The classes are really small about 13 children per class and each class has two teachers plus minimum of four assistants. They truly care about the children and the families. For Thanksgiving they go all out in giving to the families and children. They are team players and partner with other agencies to provide only the best for the children that attend here and to help the families of children that attend and in the community. The children are so respectful, and so we’ll behaved. Never any fights or problems. The school is so professional and surpasses excellence. For Christmas they don’t just give away cheap low quality toys, they gave my child lots of expensive toys and only the best for the children. They made our Christmas, even had the highest quality celebration and are also respectful and mindful of children and families that do not celebrate Christmas and are very inclusive. We absolutely LOVE this school. My child went from almost flunking to an A and B student, the school staff worked so hard to bring him up to par and helped produce excellence in him. I would recommend this school to everyone. It is a top notch school.

I am a substitute teacher and have been to many schools in this district. This school is a free for all. At any given moment there are special needs students running the halls because there is no support for them. There is no security and a child could and has left the building without an adult being aware. The principal "encourages" the staff with negative comments leading to very low morale. I would send my kid to any other school and look into this one if my child was attending.

This school was an amazing school but the past 2 years it has gone downhill and it's a shame my son and I loved this school very much he was there from 31/2 years old until now that he will be graduating.If you are looking into a good school that your children will learn and the school will have good communication with the parents look elsewhere this is 100% not the school for your children like I said this was an amazing school but these past 2 years not at all.

We love Adaire school the teachers are amazing and so is the close knit community!

i disliked the experience to an extent

St. Laurentius School has been a wonderful experience for our entire family. Our children were educated in a loving, dynamic environment by teachers and staff motivated to reach every child where they are. SLS is always looking to improve - their school building, their teaching methods, their academic program - while holding strong to their foundation and education. My children who have graduated already were incredibly prepared for high school and we love it.
