The 2017 and 2018 school years at Hamilton have been wonderful. There is new leadership and the overall tone of the school has improved. This school is destined for greatness. I am excited to have my child be a part of this transition.

I went to the school from 1956 to 1961, when me and my family moved to Darby, PA. I know that the school was revamped in the late 1960s, not established. My days at the school had some bittersweet moments. I

The school motto is one school one goal but the school has two side academic and aims the academic side have nice class rooms , laptops, clubs,and get trips. But when it comes to the aims side they have messy side no laptop to do work on

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love this school. MY DAUGHTER ATTENDS THE GERMANTOWN SITE, at 5 years old she is reading, writing, siting scriptures, we are amazed. Love the staff, I just want parents to participate more to give children the opportunity to go on more trips and activities. Its affordable so without parents assisting, its easy to miss opportunities. They could incorporate rrcess, but we go to extra curriculum activities so it doeant affect my daughter as much. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePhiladelphia Christian Academy (Larchwood Division) is not all it's cracked up to be! My son started in nursery and he is now in 1st grade, we had an excellent start. The nursery and kindergarten teachers(a mother-daughter team) were excellent. It went downhill quickly from there, his kindergarten year was terrible the teacher insulted the children and was a bit rough (witnessed an incident myself). Still decided to give it another try in 1st grade, started okay but now I'm desperate to take him out. They are more interested in the amount of work the children are given rather than how much of the work they understand. The principal is very sweet but she is old and so are her methods. It may sound rude but she needs to retire, it is too much for her to handle!! NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis pre-school mainly goes by the day care's name which is Christian Light Edu. Ctr. (CLEC). My child started there at two and is currently 4 years old and beginning to read. She gets Math and English H.W. Mon-Fri and the school is high on discipline but they don't necessarily handle problematic situations the way they should in fear of losing students. Other people whose children attended the school were well above grade level when they went to charter and public schools.
