Just as it was in 2015, people can still just walk into the building and several parents have to fight kids. The kids fight a lot.
Posted by a parent on 3/17/2022Well I do not go there but my grand children go there and it is very easy to walk in go to a class especially when your face all covered there should be a rule or the teacher call that house where the child live. That is a mess up situation
Posted by a community member on 6/24/2015I would be petrified to have my child attend this school after Nailla Robinson was basically kidnapped from her own classroom right under everyone's nose, bypassing all type of protocol and going straight to the child's classroom and saying she was the girl's mother. Hopefully there are more updates

In the past this school to me and everyone was the best school to be a student. Teachers were kind and had a one on one experiance with the parents. Today I find that this school isn't living

It never fails, they come home telling me of being bullied, their lunch being stolen (school lunch and packed) they can't play at recess, lunch monitors won't solve bully issues at

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love this school. MY DAUGHTER ATTENDS THE GERMANTOWN SITE, at 5 years old she is reading, writing, siting scriptures, we are amazed. Love the staff, I just want parents to participate more to give children the opportunity to go on more trips and activities. Its affordable so without parents assisting, its easy to miss opportunities. They could incorporate rrcess, but we go to extra curriculum activities so it doeant affect my daughter as much. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePhiladelphia Christian Academy (Larchwood Division) is not all it's cracked up to be! My son started in nursery and he is now in 1st grade, we had an excellent start. The nursery and kindergarten teachers(a mother-daughter team) were excellent. It went downhill quickly from there, his kindergarten year was terrible the teacher insulted the children and was a bit rough (witnessed an incident myself). Still decided to give it another try in 1st grade, started okay but now I'm desperate to take him out. They are more interested in the amount of work the children are given rather than how much of the work they understand. The principal is very sweet but she is old and so are her methods. It may sound rude but she needs to retire, it is too much for her to handle!! NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis pre-school mainly goes by the day care's name which is Christian Light Edu. Ctr. (CLEC). My child started there at two and is currently 4 years old and beginning to read. She gets Math and English H.W. Mon-Fri and the school is high on discipline but they don't necessarily handle problematic situations the way they should in fear of losing students. Other people whose children attended the school were well above grade level when they went to charter and public schools.
