horrible with sports to arts balance. I see the football and other sports teams get New Jerseys while the arts department is falling apart. Strong in liberal arts, but weak in STEM. Use of technology is weak, but looks like there is potential to improve with new leadership changes and fund allocations. We had been on the fence regarding switching from public school to SJS and I wish we had made the change sooner. All of my children (K, 2, and 6) have had the most rewarding school year! Not only were they valued for who they were as individuals, they were part of the learning process. The schools approach to hands on education really sold us and we could not be happier with our experience here. Anyone who has been looking should definitely check them out!
