Over emphasis on meaningless projects that all the parents do anyway. My 4-year-old child was subjected to intimidating treatment and inappropriate handling of a classroom situation, which caused serious emotional distress.The behavior of the staff—specifically the Pre-K assistant—was rude and disrespectful, making inappropriate comments and suggestions in front of other children. This is completely unacceptable in early childhood education.After the incident, I did not receive clear communication or concrete measures from the administration. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageImmanuel Christian School was a God-send for our family. Our grandson came to us after losing both of his parents. I always knew that he had a heart for God and wanted to transfer from a public school to a Christian school. The decision that we made to send him to ICS, was one of the best decisions that we have ever made. We love this school. His 5th grade teacher, Mr. Boehret is the best of the best. My grandson has been growing academically and spiritually. His teacher is always there for him. He is there to comfort, guide, support, encourage and challenge him. He has a great sense of humor as well.
