Camp Curtin School

This is a self-proclaimed academically rigorous school first and a Christian school second, and it shows. There is no joy here. The students' physical safety is not a priority nor is mental and emotional well being when it comes to bullying. The head of school is the root of many of the problems. God sees what they do to those children and it will not go unpunished.

Small class size has resulted in personalized attention and spectacular academic and social growth for my son. We have been amazed by how much our son has learned over the last year and how his communication skills with us have blossomed. Wonderful school and spectacular teachers.

As a grandfather of two students I see Londonderry School giving them a nurturing environment that provides a healthy learning experience while allowing them to be their own unique individuals.

This school’s communication with parents is awful. Buses are always late and they don’t tell you until after they’re 10-20 minutes late. They are very disorganized and there is a lack of transparency, parents are not welcome into the school. The special needs classrooms are anything but special. The kids seemed to just be lumped together without any consideration for skill, cognitive or sensory need. They also seem to be short on staff. I am very disappointed.

As a parent, I personally would not recommend this school. My child did not have a positive experience here, and I felt like communication and support could have been much better. Some staff members were kind, but overall the environment was not the right fit for our family. I would encourage other parents to look into all options before deciding.
