Keystone Math & Science Academy

This is a self-proclaimed academically rigorous school first and a Christian school second, and it shows. There is no joy here. The students' physical safety is not a priority nor is mental and emotional well being when it comes to bullying. The head of school is the root of many of the problems. God sees what they do to those children and it will not go unpunished.

This school is a safe, nurturing, religiously-oriented and intellectually stimulating learning environment. The faculty is caring, invested and engaged in partnering with parents to booster a positive educational setting for children. A welcoming and friendly atmosphere is evident in the daily operation of the school. There are ample extracurricular activities, clubs and sports in which children can participate. This school produces well-balanced, respectful, over-achieving, successful students that are prepared for the challenge of high school.

This school’s communication with parents is awful. Buses are always late and they don’t tell you until after they’re 10-20 minutes late. They are very disorganized and there is a lack of transparency, parents are not welcome into the school. The special needs classrooms are anything but special. The kids seemed to just be lumped together without any consideration for skill, cognitive or sensory need. They also seem to be short on staff. I am very disappointed.
